A Few Quick Answers
The things people ask me most.
Which type of coverage should I book?
Portraits are for planned, guided photos. Events are for parties and gatherings. Choose Weddings whenever I will photograph vows, a ceremony, or a wedding reception.
When and how do I pay?
Portraits and events use a $50 payment to save your date; weddings use 25%. That amount goes toward your total. I will send the rest after your session or event. Once it is paid, I will send your full-resolution originals and begin editing your final gallery.
What is an unedited JPEG?
Think of it as the full-size original photo without my final color, skin, and style work. It is easy to open and share, but it will not look like the edited photos in your final gallery.
How many edited photos should I expect?
Headshots include five edited photos. As a guide, portrait sessions receive about 20 edited photos per hour, events 75–100, and weddings about 100. Every session is different, so final numbers may vary.
How long does editing take?
Headshots are usually ready 7 days after you choose your favorites. Portraits take about 14 days, events about 21 days after final payment, and weddings 6–8 weeks. Rush delivery may be available—just ask.
How do studio setups and outfit changes work?
One studio hour usually includes one setup; two hours can include up to two. Outfit changes are welcome, and changing time is part of the session.
How is travel priced?
Your first hour of round-trip driving is included. After that, travel is $17.50 per 30 minutes. If parking, tolls, permits, or lodging are needed, I will let you know before booking.
What if I book close to my date?
Booking 8–14 days ahead adds $50. Booking within 7 days adds $75. These fees do not stack. For same-day availability, send me a message.
What if coverage runs longer than planned?
If I am available, you can add more time: $75 per 30 minutes for portraits or events and $125 per 30 minutes for weddings.
Can I add video, drone clips, or another photographer?
A simple stationary recording is $300, and a drone moment is $350. A second recording or drone moment is $200. A videographer or second photographer is quoted separately.
Can I change my date?
Yes—plans change! Portraits and headshots include one free date change with at least 48 hours’ notice; events need seven days; weddings need 60 days and the new available date must be within 12 months. With less notice, a new payment is needed to save the date—$50 for portraits or events and 25% for weddings. If I call a weather reschedule, there is no new payment. If I am unavailable for the new date, we will follow the cancellation policy.
