I recently tore my Achilles—but don’t worry, the shoots haven’t stopped! I’m still photographing in my boot and getting around on my knee scooter. 🛴📸 As you can imagine, though, recovery comes with plenty of downtime. Inspired by @kosinski.photography, an amazing wedding and engagement photographer here in the Capital Region, I decided to use some of that time to create a blog! My very first post is now live: A Guide to New York State Capitol Photo Sessions in Albany, NY. If you’re planning a session at the Million Dollar Staircase, use this guide to prepare for your shoot—from parking and security to the meeting point and some of my favorite photo locations inside.
